I am a 22-year-old software engineer who is more sentimental than an average techbro. Born and raised in Hong kong, I now live in the bay and work a 9 to 5.
I started In Her Own Write at 16 during quarantine, and it evolved with me. It is not a tech blog or a digital journal, but pieces of my brain that I think deserve attention on a "serious platform" that's not Instagram or LinkedIn.
I write about love through physics, film through philosophy, and me through everything. I connect to a lot of topics, and I want to share these pieces of me that may move people.
It is also a form of coping for me... overanalyzing and making things deeper than it needs to be. But I found it to be quite powerful, so I would never apologize for my depth.
It is as creative as it is technical... I do take my craft very seriously.
